Me and my cranky face :(

Sad.. face is still not in it’s normal state.. Part of the reason should be due to that time of the month has just past.. However, there’s another 2 reasons that I can think of.
- The Hada Labo SHA lotion sample that I’m currently using. If so, it might be the so-called purging stage.
- Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream. Stole a bit of this from mm and kept it in a clean tub. Seldom have reactions to products (and never from bb creams), but the bumps do feel like clots 😦
Thus to prevent further guessing, I have sadly decided to switch back to my 2-way foundations starting tomorrow. Still cannot make up my mind whether to use the one from Beauty Credit or Loreal. Haha… Too many choices…. :p
Foodie: Cheezels Biskitz

Saw it during one of the commercials before Toy Story 3… Saw it at NTUC today. Weird, it’s only sold in box of 6 :S
A little regret.. as there’s really nothing special about it. Cute mini triangular shaped  biscuits with holes, tat resembles a piece of cheese. Taste just like normal cheese crackers with additional tad of cheezels.. very faint taste only. I would vote for the more sinful Original Cheezels any day anytime!!

Couldn’t people be a little more responsible?? If they know that they are going to stay up late for that very important match, couldn’t they at least have the decency to apply leave in advance instead of throwing MC at the last second.. Yes I mean in advanced, not urgent leave.. How could it be urgent when one knows way beforehand that he/she is going to sleep real late and oversleep?? Really hate this kind of people. 😦
Some might question how can I be so sure it’s not a genuine MC.. because it has happened one too many times before.
One word – IRRESPONSIBLE!
BB Creams, Foundations and Powders

Finally muster up enough courage this afternoon, to assemble my whole collection of bb creams, foundations and powders.
Deeply horrified by the sight. All along I knew I had enough to last me a whole lifetime, but little did I expect I had this MUCH!! I felt a bit giddy when all these were laid out in front of me (not the happy type giddy, sense of fear rather..)

Felt a little dizzy on my MRT ride back earlier. So went Q-bread to grab some delicious chocolaty bun, 1 for pre-dinner, 1 for tmr breakfast. 😀 Feel instantly better after buying the bread. LOL

Then I went to Guardian to try my luck on the Lip smackers that are set to launch tomorrow. 😀 As expected, they are not going to wait till tmr morning to set up the display. OUT NOW!!! Got my trio set @ $15.90. So happy :)) (got to know of lip smackers by reading one of my fav blogs http://kimoko.livejournal.com/405047.html)
After that, went over to Body shop to get the highly raved kabuki brush for my powder. Got the one for blusher instead as it is smaller and cheaper 😀 (Did not realize this, but it seems that Body shop is having store wide 15% disc)
Ill but happy day.

Seems like another new brand from Japan has reached our shores, exclusively @ Watsons.

Saw that there’s actually a few views for this Hada Labo article. Please accept my apologies for not having a proper review for this currently popular face lotion. As mentioned earlier, blogger Kimoko has done a review on it which you can easily google for.
Anyway, after using the samples, I have decided against buying. Not that I have any problem getting it absorb by my face (I use the normal patting motion as what I did with my Fancl lotion), but rather that I had experienced numerous bumps on my face. Read my related post here
Read quite a bit of reviews on forums, and even thought there are many people raving for this lotion, there are also numerous post on white heads after using the lotion and not knowing if it’s the purging stage or just normal adverse reaction to the lotion. As everyone’s skin is different in a certain sense, what happen to me might not happen to you. But it is still advisable to get a sample to try on since it is free and readily available. I think Fr3b still has it as I had received the email again few days back, so do try your luck if you are interested. 😀

Wanted to try this ever since it’s launch. Few months back, Watsons glow mag actually gave bio-essence trial set as freebie. But I was denied the redemption by the cashier, claiming that there’s no such promo. 😦 Still feeling bitter about it even though I’m  not sure if the sleeping mask was included in the set.
Anyway, I’ve managed to sign up online by following some link to have a free sample of the mask. But I cleanly forgot about it since it was delayed (until I receive the email recently). Before receiving the email, I actually went down to Fr3b concept store, and got 2 sachets to try on. 🙂
To cut the story short, I did not start using as my skin was feeling cranky. Then I’ve received my free sample from Bio-essence few days back. A generous 10ml sample contained in a small tub. Was really happy seeing the sample that I feel that I have to try it immediately to show my appreciation .
It really deserve the due credit!! It’s really really good. Before using, I was skeptical about the results, worrying that it might cause my already bumpy face to be worse. But when I woke up in the morning, I could feel my skin more supple and soft.. After 2 continuous days of using, I can safely say that my skin has recovered by at least 90%. Have not experience such a big difference before as my skin is usually not this dehydrated (my new conclusion). Â Thanks Bio-essence, for having such a wonderful product and giving it out as a sample. Think the original price is around 30+, and due to GSS many places should be having a 20% disc for it.
Also got a new tub of Laneige sleeping mask from my trip to Korea, has yet to try it as I still have 2 opened tubes of sleeping masks, and an opened tub of wash of mask. Don’t wanna open so many new products all at one go. 🙂 Will review on other masks if I find them good 😀

Watsons shows that the normal retail price for a tub of the mask is $33.80.
It’s currently having a member promo till 28 Jul, for $25. Â I’ve have not got it yet only because I still have a few other sleeping masks to go. Will still consider.. oops..
Yes.. they are supposed to be limited to Guardian stores. But I saw the My Beauty Diary limited edition 7 days boxset (7 pieces of mask, each a different flavor going at $14.90 per box) and eye masks on the Watsons shelves.
Not sure why am I so excited. Haha… since I already have a huge tub containing all my sheet masks, there is no possibility that I will get more. Furthermore, they are quite marked up as compared to the price one can get in TW or HK.
